Our sensors measure not only harmful dust particles and gasses, but also standard meteorolical data.
And so our sensors proved their utility again when they measured the eruption of an underwater volcano. The volcano erupted close to the pacific island of Tonga, which is practically on the other side of the world when looking from Slovenia. Regardöess of the vast distance, our stations measured the difference in air pressure approximately 16 hours after the eruption occured. In the diagram above, the multiple sudden changes in air pressure were measured between 8 an 9 pm.
