Alfa Proxima has aligned its increasingly established SensWare air quality monitoring system with new EU legislation. We have also expanded the air quality categories in the SensWare system from four to six.
New rules will primarily unify the reporting of air pollutants among all EU member states and other countries, with the aim of facilitating comparisons.
We also added the EAQI Index to the platform, which combines all pollutants in a single figure. If we hover the cursor over the EAQI graph, the index of each pollutant will appear and, of course, which pollutant is predominant at that moment.
This gives you a comparative overview of the pollutants at a given locaion, all in one place. In the coming days, we will finalize the methodological explanations and recommendations in accordance with the new classification system.
