In Krško, the system of air quality monitoring has been re-established after two years. The new system for air quality monitoring was implemented by Alfa Proxima, a company from Ljubljana. This important step in monitoring environmental conditions was also featured in a report on national television (a link to the RTV report is at the bottom of this text.
Alfa Proxima’s monitoring stations are the result of Slovenian development and enable reliable monitoring of the most common air pollutants, such as particulate matter, nitrogen oxides and ozone. With the data collected, local authorities, experts, and citizens will be able to better monitor air quality and take appropriate measures to improve the living environment.
We at Alfa Proxima, work closely with the Municipality of Krško and other stakeholders, as we believe that air quality monitoring is crucial for the health of residents and the sustainable development of the city of Krško. Through the SensWare digital platform, which was also developed by our company, air quality data will be available in real time, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
